The Ghanaian Friends of New York is a registered charity organization in New York State with branches in Ghana.

The Corporation seeks to promote intercultural understanding and appreciation between people of different cultures.

The organization uses the art of  West African drumming and staging of traditional shows to raise funds and other resources for charity.

Our goals..

  Our purpose  is to engage in  forging an alliance   among African-Americans with a view to providing networking and leadership opportunity and information on culture, education, careers and entrepreneurship.

Additionally, we seek to promote spiritual, historical and cultural traditions of  Africa-American communities throughout the world especially in Africa and the United States.

 The organization will promote inter-cultural understanding and exchange between our two    communities .

Our Aims and Objectives:

To promote Ghana's Cultural heritage and

To create a platform for chiefs, queens and cultural performers from Ghana to participate in programs in USA

To serve as forum for uniting all Ghanaians from different backgrounds.

Work toward improving healthcare delivery and provision of social Africa .

To promote spiritual, historical and cultural traditions of African and African-American communities through out the world especially in Africa and the United State.

Facilitate the mobilization of material and financial support for needy institution in Africa

To pursue any other endeavor benefited to both Ghana at home and abroad
